Recipes: your reusable price book
A recipe is a reusable, priced bundle of line items — say, bathroom waterproofing with its labour and materials, each line carrying a quantity, unit, unit cost and markup. Recipes are your price book: you build quotes from them instead of typing the same lines every time.
Every new account gets 25 starter recipes installed automatically — 10 bathroom, 8 kitchen and 7 laundry, covering strip-outs, waterproofing, tiling, benchtops, cabinetry and more. They are marked · starter in the picker and belong to your business alone; recipes never cross between businesses.
- In the quote builder, tap + Add from recipe.
- Find the recipe with Search recipes… or the category chips: All, Bathroom, Kitchen, Laundry, Other.
- Select it and set the Quantity. Every line scales to match — a recipe based on 4 m², scaled to 8 m², doubles every quantity. Check the live preview of items and totals.
- Tap Add to quote. The lines drop into a new category named after the recipe, which you can rename or reorganise afterwards.
For your go-to recipes, the Quick add · favourites card in the builder sidebar lists the first five with one-tap Add buttons, plus a link to browse the full library.
